Reminder

Good Morning,

Today is the day, it is up to us! Please make your vote count.

We are projected to spend $800,000 more than we will receive from the State this year;
We are 1 of 36 districts without an operating levy;
We are asking for $4.00 per month for each question on a $125,000 property to maintain services and upgrade student technology;
In the last election, a metro school district won by approximately 25 votes;
SRR receives $1,000 less per child than the state average;
Our class sizes are the highest in Central Minnesota and perhaps all of Minnesota; and
Stronger schools DO equal stronger communities.

I know these are difficult economic times, but our children deserve to know that we were well informed and made our vote count.

The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Voting locations can be found at [ http://www.isd47.org/district-services/school-board-of-education/2011-2/polling-locations/ ]www.isd47.org.

Your Vote Will Impact Your Child’s Education!
Your vote to support the first question, both questions, or neither question, will have a tremendous impact on the students, families and communities of this district. The outcome of this election is up to us!

Thank you,

Dan
