Grammar: In place of grammar, we will be taking some time to start some preparations for MCA testing. We will be doing short activities that go over all of the skills we have been practicing all year so far.
Reading: Our main reading skills for the week will be looking at text and graphic features in non-fiction stories. We will also be working on recognizing different prefixes and clarifying our understanding. New reading logs went home today and will be due next Thursday due to no school on Friday. All reading routines/homework/AR goals etc will remain the same when Ms. Sauerer is here.
