Good questions to ask your child...

What is our School to Home Connection this month? (Answer: December can be a very busy month so we are writing down our bedtime and our wake up time. It has been suggested that a nine and ten year old need a minimum of 8 hours of sleep per night and that ten to eleven hours is highly encouraged. Please check to see that your child is writing down this data in their agenda and calculating how many hours of sleep they obtained each night. This task is also good for reviewing the concept of calculating time. For more info. on the improtance of getting a good nights rest, check out this website http://kidshealth.org/kid/talk/qa/sleep.html. or click on kidshealth.org under 'Favorite Websites' and type in 'sleep' under the search area.
