Hello, I'm Nate Swenson, principal of Pleasantview Elementary School. Our school year is off to a great start and we are excited about the learning opportunities for students. With an ActivBoard in every classroom thanks to our PTAC and numerous grants, students are excited to come to school and learn with the new technology.
There are a few events coming up that I wanted to make sure you were aware of:
* September 27th at 6 pm is our WatchDOGS pizza night in the lunchroom. Dads and their children are invited - $1 donation for pizza per person
* October 6th at 6 pm is our Ice Cream Social - Everyone is invited for a wonderful evening of ice cream and good conversations.
* October 11th at 7 pm is our second PTAC meeting - WE NEED MORE PARENTS! Please consider coming to this meeting. It is about one hour long and you get to spend time in the staff lounge! (Your children will be so jealous...)
