Dear Parent/Guardians,
On
Friday, October 12th we
will be traveling to Harriet Island in St. Paul to take a
Paddleboat cruise down the Mississippi River. We will leave Pleasantview Elementary
at 7:50
AM and board the riverboat at 9:45 AM. We will return
to Pleasantview at approximately 2
PM, so that students may participate in their normal
end of the day routines. This
field trip
will enrich our discoveries of the great state of
Minnesota, its capital city, and coincide with
our Water Cycle Unit. The total cost for the bus ride
to St. Paul and to board one of the
Padelford Riverboats will be $13. Students will need to bring their own
healthy bag lunch,
snack, and beverage. We do need your $13 payment
returned to your classroom teacher or
paid on-line on or before September 10th to reserve this date and time. Please sign and return
this permission slip, along with your payment, on or
before September 10th.
Please note there
will be no refunds and that we will participate rain
or shine.
