Rox Reading
Pleasantview will be participating in the Rox Reading Program again this year. The program will begin on Monday, April 15 and continue through Sunday, May 12. The Rox Reading Calendar will take the place of our regular reading log for the next four weeks. Students and parents will keep track and record their student's reading time on the weekly calendars. Students are still required to get a minimum of 120 minutes each week. If their calendar is turned in each week, they will qualify for the weekly drawing to win prizes of Rox merchandise and the grand prize. One prize will be given out per week per classroom. At the end of 4 weeks, ALL students who reached their reading goal for all 4 weeks will earn the grand prize of a free ticket to a St. Cloud Rox home game!
Friday, April 26, will be our make up day for the April 11th snow day. April 26 will be day 5 of the rotation. This means we will have two day fives in a row (April 25 & April 26 - computer class). All other days will be as marked on the school calendar.

Don't Forget - Fourth Grade Concert 6:30 PM on April 16th
Students should arrive at 6:15 and meet in the classroom. Please pick up your child by their locker after the concert.
Mr. McDermid said the kids could dress the part for their music concert. The songs they are singing are from the 50's decade. If they feel more comfortable in their regular clothes, that is fine too.
Girls: Poodle Skirts, Peddle Pushers (jeans rolled up), Blouse or Plain T-Shirt, Scarf around neck or tied around pony tail
Boys: Jeans (cuffed at the bottom) and White T-Shirt
