We plan to take all of the fourth and fifth graders (who reach their goal) sledding at the SRR High School on Friday, December 5th . If we do not have any snow it will be postponed until we do have snow. In order for your child to attend this event they must earn nine (9) points by November 25th. Points only count if the student achieved 80% or above on the AR test. Again, points only count if the student achieved 80% or above on the AR test Students who do not reach their goal will stay at Pleasantview and work on earning AR points.

On Tuesday, students will total up their AR points that they have earned so far and calculate the number of points they still need to earn to attend this event. You may want to ask your child to show you their total point value. We will also we sending home the permission slip for this event. Be sure to sign their permission slip and have them return it before November 25th.

Thanks and happy sledding!

Notes From the Office

The 5th Grade Food Shelf project is well under way! Thanks for all of the items and dollars that have already been donated. This year, the items will be distributed to Pleasantview families. That has always been one of the great things about this project. We know that we are directly impacting the lives of some of our own families. If you have families that you think would benefit, please get those names to one of the fifth grade teachers.

Thanks again for your generosity and help!!
