What are five equivalent fractions for 3/8,
4/5, and 2/3?

Reduce 16/18

Reduce 5/20

Write 1/10 as a decimal, 2/10, and 7/10
Write 1/5 as a decimal, 3/5, and 4/5

Are you prepared for the February notebook quiz? The quiz is on Friday.

Mr. Krupa recently shared the book he wrote, what was the title of the book? What fishing experience was the inspiration for this book? What type of fish did Mr. Krupa and his sister catch in real life? How can a personal experience help you write a story?

Check out this website to view this unique species... http://www.takemefishing.org/fishing/fishopedia/species-explorer/details/overview/fish/bowfin ....and other types of fish.

LOST AND FOUND

There are a lot of items sitting in Pleasantview's Lost and Found. These items include boots, snow pants, sweatshirts, jackets, shoes, etc. Please take time when you are here for Parent Teacher Conferences this week to take a look at these items and see if anything belongs to your children. After Parent Teacher Conferences, all items will be boxed up and donated to families in need.
Subject : A Request

I am writing to request your help in indentifying parent volunteers for "Race to the Finish " this year's Pleasantview PTAC Carnival. The Carnival & Raffle will be held on Friday April 30th. We are seeking parents who are willing to help with any part of the carnival . ( set up, games, ticket sales, decorating , clean up, ect )
You can help us by making a quick plug for the carnival during your parent conferences and having the attached "interested volunteer" form available for parents to sign. By signing this form, parent are not committing " at this point ) We will then have a pool of parents to call as we work to assign volunteers for the carnival.
I understand that conferences are a busy time and you have many important topics to cover with parents, so thank you in advance for any opportunity you can take to help is with this !
** Please return the form to the office / PTAC mailbox when you all you conferences are done.
Thank you,
Robin Thorson
